NEW SEASON STARTS
The new season is just over a week away and hopefully you are all geared up and ready for it. A letter was sent to all club secretaries and then onto all team managers 30th August reminding everybody about their responsibilities for the season. If you did not receive it then please contact me on

There are some very important changes to match cancellations this season that must be followed otherwise you may end up being fined for something this season that you weren't last. We are experiencing some difficulties with emails through the website at the moment so for the time being use the contact details on the sheet in your manager's pack or the one your match controller may have given you.If you have any change of contact it must be notified asap to the league secretary. We asked everyone to check their info at the last meeting and already we have several emails bouncing back to us.In the last week we have had several teams drop out through lack of players so there may be some fixture changes coming for certain age groups. We will obviously inform those affected. If your team team does decide to fold you need to send an official statement to the league secretary telling us that immediately. It seems that every other manager in the age group knows about it except ourselves which is very frustrating and unprofessional. This season we aim to give out more information than ever before through personal emails and the website so saying you didn't know is not an excuse. I'm sure we will have teams fold 2 weeks into the season as per usual which will mean re adjusting fixtures and even divisions no matter how many times we implore clubs to make sure they have viable player numbers so please tell us NOW and have some respect for your fellow managers and the league.
